Product Support
What You Will Do- Work with experienced peers to develop your skills.
- Be a safety leader within Command for Hauling operations within the Mine Site.
- Implement and maximize autonomous Haulage system performance.
- Work on projects to ensure continuous improvement for mining operations within Mine Star®.
- Become a trusted advisor for the customer through close collaboration internally and externally.
- Support and advise autonomous haulage system Supervisors, Builders, Controllers and Pit Technicians in all aspects of Minestar® performance, including minimizing downtime.
- Measure, benchmark and report on Mine Star® Command System performance, and suggest opportunities for improvements.
- Develop best practice and improve processes related to autonomous mining dispatch system.
- Participate in a tailored training program that may include classroom training, on‑job training and mentoring.
Technical Excellence: Knowledge of mining technology products and various application methods; ability to develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Field Support: Knowledge of post‑sales support; ability to support maintenance of hardware products.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Communication
Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a complex team.
Analytical
Skills:
Analytical skills that can be used to troubleshoot electronic systems to understand root cause.
Degree in Mining or Mechanical Engineering.
Additional InformationApplication Specialists work 7x7 day shift. Site is a 45‑minute drive from Kamloops, BC. Carpooling is provided to and from site; a hotel option close to site is available. Domestic relocation to Kamloops, BC is available. Applicants will assume this position at the applicable salary grade according to Caterpillar's Training Track standard process. Sponsorship is not available.

$81,600 – $101,880
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job‑related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
