Description

Join our team as a Materials Testing Technician in an exciting local opportunity. We are looking for a skilled, detail‑oriented professional to support high‑quality construction projects while enjoying a healthy work‑life balance. We value growth, safety, and innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Safety First, Always – Lead by example in site safety meetings and maintain a culture of safety and quality.
  • Field and Laboratory Testing – Conduct on‑site tests (compaction, concrete, asphalt) and prepare reports, entering data into manual and digital systems.
  • Equipment Management – Maintain and properly handle materials testing equipment, including nuclear gauges and laboratory instruments.
  • Client Collaboration – Work closely with clients, participate in our ISO 9001 Quality Program and corporate HSE program.
  • Technical Excellence – Support geotechnical investigations and instrumentation work, ensuring accurate and reliable testing results.
What We’re Looking For
  • 2–5 years of industrial/civil materials testing experience (intermediate to senior). Diploma in Geotechnical/Civil Engineering preferred.
  • Proficiency in nuclear gauge usage, field concrete testing procedures, and laboratory testing requirements. Strong knowledge of soil types and practical solutions.
  • Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean record; able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel as required.
  • CCIL accreditation in Type‑C/HMA, Type‑QF/QL, or CSA is an asset.
  • Passion for learning, problem‑solving, and contributing to a high‑performing team.
