As a project manager at Appenzell construction your duties and responsibilities would include:

• Managing the full life cycle of the project
• Performing detailed and organized electronic quantity take offs using Bluebeam
• Manage the procurement of materials, sub contractors, and permits
• Collaborating with Clients, Designers, Subcontractors, Vendors and on-site Trades.
• Develop project plans and schedules

• Ability to proficiently interpret construction documentation (specifications, plans, contracts etc.)

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation using construction management software such as Pro Core and Primavera P6.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
• Prepare and review construction estimates utilizing Heavy Bid and other estimating tools.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth project flow.
• Monitor project progress daily, adjusting schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
• Oversee safety protocols on-site to maintain compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
• Utilize Bluebeam for document management, plan review, and collaboration with team members.
• Lead project meetings, report progress to stakeholders, and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure quality control by inspecting work at various stages of construction.
• Manage change orders and contractual adjustments efficiently.

• Proven experience in construction management or related roles with a strong understanding of the construction industry.
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Proficiency in construction management software including Pro Core, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, Heavy Bid, and other relevant tools.
• Experience with construction estimating processes and cost control measures.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
