Clark Builders is hiring a Foreman for projects in Kamloops, BC! The Foreman will be responsible for supervising trade employees assigned to a particular construction discipline or work area.

Superintendent

• Assist in planning work schedule(s) and determining and maintaining workforce requirements, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Clark Builders safety policies and procedures.
• Identify hazards and correct any unsafe conditions.
• Lead QA/QC checks and inspections.
• Lead site specific orientations and tailgate meetings.
• Draft and submit RFI’s.
• Assume control of the site if the Superintendent is off site.
• Other duties as required.
• Represent Clark Builders in a professional and respectful manner.
• Adhere to Clark Builders policies and procedures.

• Experience working under the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model.
• The ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints and communicate this information to others.
• Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential.
• Conflict resolution.
• The capability to work outside in extreme weather conditions depending on the season.

• Journeyperson trade certification.
• Carpentry experience is preferred.
• 8+ years of construction experience.
• Valid first aid certificate an asset.
• Valid Fall Protection, CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 is an asset.

Wage Range: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour.

Local candidates only will be considered.

Environmental aspects (weather, heights, etc.) play an important role for this position since work is often outdoors.
