About Kingston School of Management and Science   Affiliated to  Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), West Bengal , Kingston Management College is a dynamic and forward-looking institution offering programs such as  BBA, BCA, BBA (Hospital Management), BMLT, and BHHA , among other business and technology-oriented undergraduate courses. The college emphasizes  industry interface, research, employability, and entrepreneurship , aligning curricula with 21st-century digital and managerial competencies.
The Principal will also  oversee the MBA Department functioning under the same Kingston umbrella , ensuring synergy between undergraduate and postgraduate management education and maintaining academic excellence across both verticals.

Role Overview  The Principal will serve as the  strategic academic and administrative leader  of Kingston Management College — driving academic excellence, governance, and accreditation preparedness (NAAC/NBA) in alignment with  MAKAUT, AICTE, and UGC frameworks .
The incumbent will lead faculty mentorship, research innovation, student success initiatives, and academic-industry collaborations to position Kingston Management College as a  premier center for management education in Eastern India .

Key Responsibilities   Provide  academic, administrative, and strategic leadership  aligned with KEI's mission and values.
Ensure  compliance with MAKAUT, AICTE, and UGC norms  in all academic and administrative functions.
Lead  curriculum design, pedagogical innovation, and faculty development programs .
Oversee  admission planning, academic operations, and student discipline mechanisms .
Strengthen the  MBA Department's rigor, market relevance, and cross-institutional coordination .
Foster  research culture and industry partnerships  for internships, projects, and placements.
Drive  NAAC/NBA accreditation readiness and quality assurance frameworks .
Oversee  budgeting, staffing, and performance appraisal systems .
Promote a campus environment that values  innovation, inclusivity, ethics, and lifelong learning .
Represent the college at academic councils, university bodies, and professional forums.

Desired Candidate Profile    Ph.D. in Management or Allied Discipline  (mandatory).
Minimum  15 years of teaching and administrative experience  in higher education, as per UGC/AICTE norms.
Proven leadership record as  Principal / Director / Dean  in a reputed management institution.
Deep understanding of  MAKAUT regulations, NEP 2020 implementation, and academic audits .
Visionary mindset emphasizing  digital transformation, employability, and institutional branding .
Exceptional communication, strategic planning, and team leadership abilities.

Experience with  NAAC/NBA accreditation, IQAC processes, and faculty evaluation systems .
Reporting To   President & Secretary,   Kingston Educational Institute via HR Department
