Responsibilities
- Deliver equipment and materials to commercial construction projects in a safe and efficient manner
- Operate a truck pulling a flatbed trailer equipped to transport mining components and heavy equipment
- Must have operational knowledge of heavy equipment to be hauled and ability to load and unload equipment from a lowboy trailer
- Measure load height, length and width
- Must be able to use chains and binders to secure equipment and components
- Must have working knowledge of DOT heavy haul permitting
- Maintain equipment, accurate driver paperwork and legal load limits
- Be willing to drive other commercial motor vehicles such as a water truck, side dump and end dump
- 3 years of heavy haul transport driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL, tanker and doubles / triples endorsements, medical card
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and be on your feet for long periods of time
- Ability to work flexible shifts which include days, nights, some weekends
- Assure all safety procedures are followed
- Must pass a pre employment drug screening and background check
