Role OverviewThe HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and optimizing residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives on solving complex system issues and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components
- Ensure systems operate at peak efficiency and meet manufacturer specifications
- Communicate findings and repair recommendations clearly to customers
- Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders
- Follow all safety standards and EPA regulations
- Participate in on‑call rotation as needed
- Minimum 5 years of HVAC service experience
- EPA Universal Certification (required)
- Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and refrigeration systems
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Strong communication and customer service skills
