Groundworker - Union Line Clearance Crew

Join a professional vegetation management crew clearing right-of-way for electrical utilities in Northwest Montana. This is a union position with defined wages, negotiated benefits, structured advancement, and real long-term earning potential.

• Clear brush and trees near energized powerlines
• Operate chainsaws, brush cutters, and hand tools
• Support climbers and equipment operators
• Feed and manage chipper operations
• Maintain safe work zones under strict electrical hazard standards
• Work in mountainous and forested terrain year-round

This is physically demanding outdoor work. Expect early mornings, overtime, and production expectations.

• Strong work ethic and reliability — no attendance issues
• Comfortable with hard physical labor in all weather
• Safety-focused mindset
• Ability to work efficiently on a crew
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening

Experience in logging, landscaping, tree work, construction, wildfire, or heavy labor is a plus — but not required.

• $22.68/hour (Union Wage Rate)
