Test Analyst II

Job Description

Focuses on owning and managing testing for a specific area or project. Review all requirements and design specifications for a project. Often focused on test design, scope and coverage. May also prepare and execute test cases.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Good understanding of SQA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Execute and lead others in the analysis of product documentation to inspire the creation of a Test Plan and Test Cases to ensure testing quality.
• Adhere to and lead others in the established Aon – NFS Information Technologies Software Development Life Cycle.
• Perform and lead others to conduct testing to assure that products meet design specifications and customer requirements.
• Work closely and lead others to work closely with project managers, software developers, business analysts and Operations team members to ensure quality products.
• Provide status reporting for customers and internal management.
• Investigate, isolate and report software defects.
• Excellent verbal communication skill.
• Capable of technical writing (bug reports, test plans, test specifications).
• Detail-oriented and well organized.
• Learn through training and research the NFIP flood business.

Job Requirements, Skills, Abilities, Education, Certification, License or

Training:

• Foundation level certification for a recognized Software Quality Assurance training preferred.
• 5+ years of Software Quality Assurance Automation Tool preferred.
• 5+ years of Information Technology experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess the ability to produce work that exhibits high positive achievement.
• Must possess the ability to adopt and execute Aon – NFS Software Quality Assurance policies and procedures.
• Must possess the ability to adapt to a fast paced environment.
• Must be able to change project focus quickly and efficiently.
  
  Must be able to assess and apply risk based testing techniques.
• Experience with our technological Products preferred; TFS, Rally, MS Office, SharePoint, Windows, iSeries, Oracle, SQL, .net, Selenium, SoapUI.
• Experience with configuration or implementation of the following Aon – NFS products will be a plus:
  Flood
  
  XChange, Reporting
  
  XChange, Claims
  
  XChange, Notice
  
  XChange, Flood Pro.
• Experience with the NFIP of Flood insurance a plus.
• Experience with Test Automation a plus.
