Join Our Surgical Technologist Team at Logan Health!Location: Logan Health Medical Center – Kalispell, Montana
Schedule: Night Shift – 8 hours | Full-Time – 40 Hours
As a Surgical Technologist
, you’ll:
- Master the art of surgical precision by arranging instruments for maximum efficiency.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and play a key role in ensuring smooth procedures.
- Maintain a sterile field and follow aseptic techniques to uphold patient safety.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to deliver patient-centered care.
- Set up and evaluate equipment to ensure everything is in top working condition.
- Participate in counts and assist in the handling of surgical specimens.
- Assist in patient transfer and post-op care with professionalism and compassion.
- Certification through the certifying body of the Association of Surgical Technologists, Inc. preferred or 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
- AHA BLS Certification (or must be obtained within 2 months of hire).
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to new software.
- Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and patient safety.

Qualifications:- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience or certification required.
- Surgical Technologist experience preferred in all of the below areas:
- Dental
- ENT
- General Surgery
- Neurosurgery
- OB/GYN
- Orthopedics
- Pediatric Neurosurgery
- Pediatrics
- Plastics/Breasts
- Podiatry
- Robotics
- Surgical Oncology
- Thoracic
- Urology
- Vascular
- Surgical Technologist Certification through the certifying body of the Association of Surgical Technologists, Inc. preferred.
- Current AHA BLS Certification or must successfully obtain within two (2) months of hire.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
- Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
Specific Duties :
- Participates in the planning process for surgical procedures.
- Accurately selects all equipment and supplies needed for surgical cases.
