Join Our Surgical Technologist Team at Logan Health!

Location: Logan Health Medical Center – Kalispell, Montana
Schedule: Night Shift – 8 hours | Full-Time – 40 Hours

As a Surgical Technologist
, you’ll:

  • Master the art of surgical precision by arranging instruments for maximum efficiency.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and play a key role in ensuring smooth procedures.
  • Maintain a sterile field and follow aseptic techniques to uphold patient safety.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Set up and evaluate equipment to ensure everything is in top working condition.
  • Participate in counts and assist in the handling of surgical specimens.
  • Assist in patient transfer and post-op care with professionalism and compassion.
What We're Looking For:
  • Certification through the certifying body of the Association of Surgical Technologists, Inc. preferred or 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist.
  • AHA BLS Certification (or must be obtained within 2 months of hire).
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work independently when needed.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to new software.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and patient safety.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience or certification required.
  • Surgical Technologist experience preferred in all of the below areas:
    • Dental
    • ENT
    • General Surgery
    • Neurosurgery
    • OB/GYN
    • Orthopedics
    • Pediatric Neurosurgery
    • Pediatrics
    • Plastics/Breasts
    • Podiatry
    • Robotics
    • Surgical Oncology
    • Thoracic
    • Urology
    • Vascular
  • Surgical Technologist Certification through the certifying body of the Association of Surgical Technologists, Inc. preferred.
  • Current AHA BLS Certification or must successfully obtain within two (2) months of hire.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
