From meticulous sterile field preparation to anticipating the surgeon’s next move, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care in a fast-paced cardiovascular operating room.

* What You’ll Do:

*** Collaborate with a skilled surgical team to support surgeons during life-saving procedures.
* Utilize your expertise to maintain a sterile field, anticipate surgical needs, and ensure efficient intraoperative support.
* Play a critical role in preoperative patient preparation and intraoperative care, working closely with healthcare providers to deliver top-tier patient care.
* Showcase your proficiency across multiple service lines, contributing to complex, high-stakes cardiovascular surgeries.

* What We’re Looking For:

*** Graduates of approved Surgical Technologist programs or military training.
* Surgical Technologists with 2+ years of scrub experience and demonstrated proficiency in CVOR procedures.
* Team-oriented professionals with excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

* Qualifications:

*** Certification by the Association of Surgical Technologist (AST)
** or
* * National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT); must be successfully obtained within two (2) years of hire onto the CV team required.
* Graduate of an approved school of Operating Room Technologists
** or
* * military trained required.
* Previous hospital experience with skills in a variety of cases performed preferred.
* Current BLS CPR required.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
* Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
* Possess strong customer service skills and ability to multi-task in an ever changing workload environment.
