Montana Department of Corrections, Flathead Valley Reentry Center (FVRC), Kalispell, MT
The Montana Department of Corrections is creating a safer Montana through Accountability, Rehabilitation and Empowerment. The FVRC plays an integral role in providing structure and accountability while supporting success for residents returning to their community. The Clinical Therapist will serve as a key member of the facility’s treatment and programming team by delivering evidence-based services to meet the mental health needs of residents.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical assessments, evaluations, diagnoses, therapeutic groups and individual sessions; conduct emergency evaluations and management; provide clinical consultations, observations, and referrals as needed.
- Coordinate with facility case managers for discharge planning and connection to community-based services.
- Manage case files and records for residents in treatment for mental and emotional illness.
- Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.
- 1 year of job-related experience.
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) by the State of Montana.
