** About the Position:
** Treetops Resort is seeking a skilled
** HVAC Technician
** to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems throughout our resort. This includes guest accommodations, dining areas, kitchens, banquet facilities, and recreational spaces. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic resort environment, ensuring comfort and safety for guests and staff while supporting critical food and beverage operations.

* Key Responsibilities:

*** Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, rooftop units, split systems, and ventilation systems.
* Conduct preventive maintenance on all HVAC equipment to ensure peak performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
* Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems used in kitchens, bars, and banquet operations (if applicable).
* Monitor, adjust, and optimize system controls, thermostats, and energy management systems.
* Respond promptly to service requests, including guest room comfort issues, restaurant system failures, and banquet or event HVAC needs.
* Maintain accurate records of work orders, equipment maintenance, and inventory.
* Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and resort policies.
* Collaborate with other facilities staff to support large-scale resort events and peak season operations.
* Assist with seasonal system changes, such as heating season start-ups and cooling season preparation.
* Other duties as assigned to support department success.## Qualifications
** Requirements:
*** High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in HVAC preferred.
* Minimum 1 year of HVAC service experience, preferably in hospitality or resort environments.
* Knowledge of commercial heating, cooling, and ventilation systems, including refrigeration for food and beverage operations.
* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent communication skills and guest-focused attitude.
* OSHA or safety certifications a plus.
