DescriptionWe are seeking Armed Contract security guards in Lawrence, MI—
independent contractors (1099). Applicants must have open availability, including weekends and flexible shift hours
, and be ready to provide security services at a range of public events.
- Patrol Duties: Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or other security breaches.
- Access Control: Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other individuals to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the security of the premises.
- Surveillance Monitoring: Operate and monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems, to identify potential threats or unusual behavior.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms and disturbances; assess situations, provide assistance, and coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services as necessary.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, documenting any irregularities, safety concerns, or security breaches.
- Emergency Assistance: Provide first aid or CPR when necessary and assist in emergency evacuations or other critical situations.
- Weapon Maintenance: Ensure that all assigned protective equipment, including firearms, are maintained in excellent working condition and used responsibly.
- Earn $18-20 /hour pay as a contractor (potential to transition into full-time/part-time W-2 staff)
- Work short-term, high-flexibility assignment
- Must be available any shift
, including weekends - Assignments may fall on day, evening, or overnight hours
- Must be prepared to work a varied and dynamic schedule
; hours will be assigned based on company needs - Schedule is set by our team—this is closely managed contract work
- High school Diploma or GED
- Valid Michigan CPL
- Clean background check
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to stand and walk for extended shifts
