Join a respected, growth‑oriented independent insurance agency seeking an Employee Benefits Account Manager to support and service small to mid‑sized group clients (20 employees). This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in client service, collaboration, and the fast‑paced benefits environment.
Responsibilities- Manage a diverse book of employee benefits clients with precision and care.
- Coordinate renewals, enrollments, and daily service needs with accuracy and urgency.
- Prepare plan comparisons, assist with quotes, and streamline onboarding processes.
- Partner closely with producers, carriers, and vendors to deliver timely solutions.
- Advise clients on fully insured, level‑funded, and self‑funded plan options.
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation and build lasting client relationships.
- 1–2 years of experience in employee benefits account management.
- Hands‑on experience with groups of 20 employees.
- Working knowledge of major carriers (BCBS, Harvard Pilgrim, Tufts, UHC, Delta Dental, etc.).
- Understanding of medical, dental, vision, life, and ancillary lines.
- Active Life & Health License (Michigan).
- Organized, reliable, and service‑driven with strong communication skills.
Base salary: $55,000 — $80,000, based on experience. Collaborative, professional culture emphasizing mentorship and long‑term growth.
