The Scientist will support laboratory research activities focused on cell culture and cell-based assays within a BSL-2 environment. This role involves conducting high-throughput testing, maintaining laboratory documentation, and supporting research teams through accurate data collection and analysis.

• Perform primary cell culture and execute a variety of cell-based assays independently.
• Conduct high-throughput sample testing in an organized and timely manner.
• Maintain excellent aseptic technique to ensure sterility and quality of cell culture and assay results.
• Work safely within a BSL-2 laboratory environment following all laboratory safety protocols.
• Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks and prepare technical reports and analysis summaries.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record keeping of laboratory procedures and results.
• Support basic laboratory management tasks and troubleshoot experimental processes as needed.
• Perform duties in a timely and organized manner while supporting collaborative research efforts.

• Master’s degree in molecular biology, immunology, cell biology, or a related scientific discipline with 3-5 years of hands‑on laboratory experience, or a PhD with 0-2 years of postdoctoral experience.
• Experience working with primary cell isolation and mammalian cell culture.
• Hands‑on experience with cell‑based assays and laboratory techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced laboratory environment.
• Ability to perform dilution and stoichiometric calculations.

• Experience working with flow cytometry.
• Familiarity with RNAi methodologies.
• Experience working within regulated laboratory environments.
