RN ICU KAL – Beacon Health System

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit in Kalamazoo, MI. The RN will provide direct nursing care in accordance with the established policies, procedures, and protocols of Beacon Health System.

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well‑coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

• Advanced Life Support credentialed by the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 months of hire or job transfer.
• BLS Provider credentialed by the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 30 days of hire or job transfer.
• Licensed Registered Nurse obtained within 90 days of hire or job transfer.

• The RN must hold an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) or RN Diploma at the start date. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.

• One (1) year critical care experience required.
• If no qualified applicants apply, may consider other applicants.
