Salary Range: $54,000 - $86,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Design, fabricate, and assemble precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Operate conventional and CNC machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders.
- Perform routine maintenance, repair, and modification of existing tooling.
- Interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and CAD models to determine specifications.
- Inspect finished tools for accuracy and quality using precision measuring instruments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool performance and production.
- Select appropriate materials and heat treatments for tool construction.
- Proven experience as a Tool Maker in a precision manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating manual and CNC machine tools (lathes, mills, grinders, EDMs).
- Expert ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong knowledge of tooling materials, heat treatment processes, and fabrication techniques.
- Completion of an accredited Tool and Die Maker apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Solid Works, Mastercam).
- Experience in CNC programming and setup for complex geometries.
- Knowledge of advanced metrology techniques and CMM operation.
- Familiarity with EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) or laser welding processes.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
