Production Worker- Mat Roller

Join the CLS Family — a respected, family-owned textile rental company serving businesses since 1899. We’re looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our Mats Department and help ensure our customers receive clean, high-quality floor mats every time.

As a Mats Department Team Member, you’ll play a key role in processing and preparing floor mats for distribution. This position keeps our production floor running efficiently and safely.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving mats from dryers via conveyor system
• Sorting mats by size, color, and product type
• Operating commercial mat rolling machines safely and efficiently
• Using an overhead hoist system to lift and stage mat bags
• Inspecting mats to ensure they meet quality standards
• Removing and staging rejected mats according to company procedures
• Organizing and storing rolled mats to support accurate route fulfillment
• Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
• Reporting equipment issues or repeated quality concerns to your Supervisor

This is a fast-paced production environment where you’ll stay active throughout your shift. You can expect:

• Exposure to heat, steam, and noise
• Continuous material handling
• Repetitive motion
• Lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
• Pushing/pulling carts weighing 800+ lbs
• Standing for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work safely in a production environment
• Ability to distinguish between different mat colors
• Mechanical aptitude and comfort operating equipment
• Dependability and strong work ethic
• Team-oriented mindset
• Previous production or warehouse experience is a plus — but we are willing to train the right candidate!
