Kalamazoo, MI | $90,000 – $115,000 | Day Shift | 4x10 Schedule (Mon–Thurs)
About the OpportunityWe’ve partnered with a high-precision aerospace and medical manufacturer in Southwest Michigan seeking a CNC Programmer / Process Engineer with strong 3 & 4-axis vertical milling experience.
This is a process ownership role — not just programming. The right candidate will build machining strategies from scratch, optimize cycle times, improve quality, and support operators on the floor.

What You’ll Be Doing- Program and develop 3 & 4 axis vertical milling processes using CAD/CAM software (Mastercam or similar)
- Take complex parts from print to production
- Select tooling, feeds, speeds, fixturing, and cutting strategies
- Reduce scrap and improve cycle times
- Troubleshoot process issues and support shop-floor execution
- Read and interpret GD&T and complex blueprints
- Partner with production and quality to maintain aerospace/medical standards
- Train and elevate operators on process best practices
- 3+ years programming vertical mills on complex precision components
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge
- Experience machining stainless, high-nickel, or super alloys preferred
- Ability to build a stable process from start to finish
- CAD/CAM proficiency (Mastercam, Esprit, or similar)
- Aerospace and/or medical manufacturing background preferred
- Continuous improvement mindset
- 4-day work week (10-hour shifts)
