Pay: Starting at $31.37 to $38.81 based on experience

Shifts Available: Days 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM M–F;
Night 5:15 PM – 5:30 AM 2-2-3 Schedule

Support the lines in your work group. Work with Value Stream Manager, Asset care manager, TSM, Work Group Leaders, Process Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, Line Technicians, Set-up Technicians, etc. to improve overall line reliability and case attainment.

• Diagnose faulty production and related plant equipment with minimal supervision using schematics, manuals, and drawings. Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems, troubleshoot electrical issues, and apply preventative maintenance strategies; train others in these responsibilities.
• Complete a setup and process the line from scratch after a changeover.
• Understand the functions of a lip roller and bagger; run trials and process product if it does not satisfy auxiliary equipment demands.
• Conduct R&D trials on the shop floor and in the Tech center.
• Identify faulty parts and provide proper nomenclature in a requisition to order spares or replacements.
• Be knowledgeable of spare parts locations and observe stores room withdrawal/return procedures.
• General working knowledge of machine shop equipment.
• Must be team-oriented with leadership qualities and capable of leading co-workers in assigned tasks.
• Maintain necessary records and established maintenance procedures.
• Understand and operate SAP and RTC programs within Pactiv.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Responsible for additional duties per shift as assigned by maintenance Team Leader.
• Work, train and maintain open communication with all members of the work group.
• Walk story boards through the work group and develop action plans for resolution of repeatable failures.
• Collaborate with the workgroup on action items to improve line efficiency, including leading line improvements, design of experiments, and projects.
• 24/7 on-call phone support for assistance/reporting to/by the team.
• Other duties as necessary.

Administrative: Demonstrates ability to accurately post data from one source to another in ERP or peripheral software systems, including SAP, Outlook, Excel, and Microsoft tools.

• Communication/Teamwork: Ability to communicate effectively and work closely as part of a cross-functional team; foster openness, honesty, trust, and teamwork; multi-task and prioritize without loss of effectiveness.
