Faith-Focused Owner & Recruiter at Lakeside Recruiting Solutions (Metal Casting, Machining, & Manufacturing) Maintenance ManagerThe Maintenance Manager will be responsible for managing the Maintenance department within the plant. This individual will lead the team who will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the facilities’ business goals and objectives.
Responsibilities- Supervise skilled tradespeople, facilities maintenance and machine maintenance crews.
- Provide training opportunities to staff to further employees’ knowledge.
- Coordinate procurement of maintenance materials, capital equipment, and services.
- Meets maintenance financial standards by providing annual budget information; monitoring expenditures; identifying variances; and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintains function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by implementing a preventive maintenance program; operating and testing systems and equipment; restoring, repairing, rebuilding, or replacing faulty or inoperative components and parts.
- Improves function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results; identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal codes and regulations.
- Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred
- 5+ years of maintenance management experience within the metal casting industry.
- Strong manufacturing maintenance background including knowledge of Hydraulic systems, Electrical systems, and working knowledge of PLC’s
