THE OPPORTUNITY:

As our General Manager, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and sales directives across five salon locations. Your responsibilities will include:

LEADERSHIP AND TEAM DEVELOPMENT
  • You’ll be a visible and engaging leader on the floor, mentoring, training, developing, and motivating our Managers and staff.
  • Collaborate with store management to identify staff members with strong leadership potential and the desire to grow with the company.
  • You will guide them to achieve their sales goals, provide top-notch customer service, and create a positive work environment that aligns with our brand and training methods.
  • Organize team activities to promote team culture.
STAFF OPPERATIONS
  • Lead and anticipate staffing needs at each location.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, and training support.
SALES AND OPERATIONS MANAGMENT
  • Follow direction from corporate to drive company goals and marketing initiatives.
  • Lead 3 corporate trainings per year.
  • Travel to stores for 1 on 1 coaching.
  • Participate in 2 store meetings a month.
  • Lead and attend regional trainings.
  • Analyze and present monthly growth strategies and sales outcomes.
  • Audit past sales transactions to identify and correct any improper sales techniques to ensure accuracy.
  • Verify payroll and submit accurately and on time.
  • Accurately compile and submit monthly commission and incentive information.
  • Review Store schedules to ensure labor hours are met and coverage is adequate to meet service levels.
  • Stay informed of maintenance issues in stores and follow up with maintenance
  • Make sure our high cleanliness standards are met.
  • Assist managers with ensuring cash handling is accurate and deposits submitted on time.
  • Identify areas of improvement in the company regarding sales and operations.
GENERAL

  • Thorough understanding of company policies, goals, and standards.
  • In a managers absence, you’ll assume full responsibility of the location operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelors degree in business administration, management, or related field preferred; or 2 years of related industry or retail experience
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience, or at least 1 year of Island Heat Management Experience
  • Flexibility to work a 40 hour week, including possible nights, weekends, and travel.
  • Top-Notch customer service skills with a genuine passion for our guests
  • Proven track record in both personal sales abilities and ability to teach sales
  • Reliable and punctual
  • A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire to continuously learn and grow
