Position OverviewThe Epic Certified Analyst II – Business Information Systems works independently to support, maintain, and enhance Epic applications related to Patient Access and Revenue Cycle operations. This role plays a key part in ensuring Epic systems effectively support scheduling, referrals, registration, billing, and denial management workflows across Bronson Healthcare Group.
Primary applications supported include Epic Cadence
, along with Prelude, Resolute, and HIM modules, as applicable. The Analyst II partners closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to analyze workflows, design system solutions, support upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability and performance.
- Support, maintain, and optimize Epic Cadence and related Patient Access and Revenue Cycle applications
- Analyze business workflows, data needs, and system functionality to recommend and implement system improvements
- Configure, test, troubleshoot, and support Epic applications and related vendor systems
- Collaborate with end users to gather requirements and translate operational needs into technical solutions
- Develop and maintain system documentation, test scripts, procedures, and training materials
- Analyze Epic release upgrades and communicate new functionality to stakeholders
- Work with report writers to ensure accurate reporting and data availability
- Provide proactive user support and participate in issue resolution during system outages or performance concerns
- Maintain strong working relationships with Epic, vendors, and internal IT teams
- Participate in system planning, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in information systems or Epic application support
- Epic Cadence certification required (or must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Experience supporting at least one Epic module such as Cadence, Prelude, Resolute, or HIM
- Strong understanding of healthcare administrative workflows, including scheduling, referrals, registration, billing, and reimbursement
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- This role involves extended computer-based work and sustained attention to detail
- Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting may be required
- On-call or off-hours support may be required during upgrades or system issues
