What We’re Looking For in a Licensed Pharmacy Technician- Active Michigan Pharmacy Technician License
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in filling prescriptions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to pharmacy regulations
- Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred but not required
As a full-time Licensed Pharmacy Technician at KLTC, you will:
- Accurately fill prescriptions for residents in long-term care facilities
- Count, package, and label medications correctly
- Prepare unit-dose and compliance/blister packaging
- Review medications for accuracy (NDC, quantities, expiration dates, etc.)
- Assemble medication orders and MARs for delivery
- Participate in daily and monthly production cycles
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Communicate clearly with team members when issues arise
