Key Responsibilities- Analyze manufacturing variances (e.g., material, labor, overhead) and provide insights into performance deviations.
- Develop and maintain financial models for product costing, profitability analysis, and investment appraisals.
- Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for production costs and capital expenditures.
- Prepare detailed financial reports on plant performance, production efficiency, and inventory valuation.
- Evaluate capital expenditure requests, including ROI analysis for new equipment and facility upgrades.
- Monitor inventory levels and costs, identifying opportunities for optimization and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify cost reduction opportunities and improve financial processes.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis using Excel.
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for financial data extraction and reporting.
- Strong understanding of cost accounting principles specific to manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) for presenting complex financial information.
- Ability to analyze manufacturing costs, production efficiencies, and inventory valuation.
- Experience with major manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor)
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Understanding of supply chain finance or inventory management principles
- Prior exposure to advanced forecasting models or predictive analytics
