Engineering Manager - Allegan Area

Salary Range: $115,000 - $164,000 depending on experience

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, and automation solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, product quality, and cost reduction.
• Manage engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and R&D departments to resolve technical issues and optimize manufacturing operations.

• Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

• 7+ years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity within a manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, production methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma), and relevant quality systems.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing engineering teams, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
• Strong project and program management skills, with experience overseeing complex engineering initiatives from concept to completion.
• Demonstrated track record of solving complex technical and operational challenges, driving root cause analysis, and implementing sustainable improvements.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Experience with advanced automation and Industry 4.0 technologies
• Proficiency with leading manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
• Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Engineering Management)
