Teaching Professional - Head of Men's Programming and Golf Schools

Overview

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting the Director of Instruction with the planning and implementation of a golf instructional program that will ensure a quality experience for members and staff; coordinating and executing the group instructional program, golf schools and Men's instructional program; and providing golf instruction through lessons, clinics, schools, and seminars.

• PGA Member in Good Standing
• A minimum of five years of professional teaching experience
• Experience using Trackman, SAM Putt Lab, Swing Catalyst, Force Plates
• Working knowledge of Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher)
• Bachelor s Degree in Sports and Recreation Management, Business Management, or related field preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assist Director of Golf in the implementation of the golf operation as required
• Assist the Director of Instruction in developing and coordinating the golf instructional program
• Lead and Execute KCC Group Instructional Program and Golf Schools

• Develop and implement a teaching philosophy that remains consistent throughout the season
• Provide golf instruction through lessons, clinics, schools, and seminars
• Coordinate and execute Group Instructional Program and Golf Schools
• Play golf regularly with KCC members
• Maintain the general upkeep of the driving range, lessons tee, and Performance Center
• Participate in regular meetings with the Director of Instruction
• Attend educational seminars to maintain current industry knowledge of golf instruction, player development, and the business of golf instruction
