Advanced Vision Care is seeking to add a new Doctor of Optometry to join our team. This southwest Michigan private practice was established in 1998, and currently consists of a glaucoma specialist and an optometrist. We hope to expand by adding another ophthalmologist this year as well. We are the premier glaucoma practice in the greater Kalamazoo area, with a population of around 300,000.

Kalamazoo is located halfway between Detroit and Chicago, and is only 30 miles from Lake Michigan. There are many diverse areas to live, from the downtown historic district to the surrounding countryside with numerous lakes. Kalamazoo offers many opportunities for outdoor activities, yet also has a vibrant downtown arts, theater, and music scene.

• Perform complete examinations for all general eye care patients.
• Manage many patients with glaucoma.
• Assist with post-op care for cataract and glaucoma surgeries.
• Work with a great support team of ophthalmic technicians.
• Collaborate with our glaucoma specialist who is available to assist in managing patients.

• Doctor of Optometry degree.

• Starting salary between $120,000 and $150,000.
• Four weeks of paid vacation.
