This position is responsible for all clinical and patient treatment activities within the Medical Section of the Clinical Affairs Department. Duties include providing medical assessments, performing medical procedures, and delivering primary clinical care to residents of the Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital.

This role involves providing direct health care services to persons in the care or custody of the state and includes unsupervised access to controlled substances.

Requirements include possession of a medical degree from an accredited school of medicine, one year of post-degree full licensure experience in medicine or osteopathic medicine and surgery, and a Michigan Medical or Osteopathic Medicine license. A DEA license is also required.
