Accountant, Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant

Located in Livingston County, our client is a fast-growing consumer products company. Known for developing innovative solutions, the company has built a strong reputation across both residential and commercial markets. Its products are distributed through multiple national channels and continue to gain momentum in the industry.

The Accountant provides finance and accounting support across the organization, with a focus on maintaining accurate financial records, completing reconciliations, and supporting month-end closing activities. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, gain exposure to multiple areas of the business, and grow within a stable, expanding organization.

The Accountant plays an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and will collaborate with internal teams to support timely and effective financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities of the Accountant Position include:

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Complete balance sheet and account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting processes
• Assist with payroll processing and reporting
• Support audits, ad-hoc reporting, and financial analysis as needed
• Maintain accurate records across accounting systems, including Net Suite and Quick Books
• Partner with internal teams, including operations, to support accounting and financial needs

This role is well-suited for an accountant seeking to deepen technical accounting skills, gain exposure to systems and process improvement, and grow into increased responsibility over time through mentorship and hands‑on experience.

• At least five years of general accounting and/or finance experience
• At least two years of Net Suite experience required
• Experience with Quick Books (Online) strongly preferred
• Experience with ADP is preferred but not required
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• High attention to detail and a strong sense of accountability
• Experience in shipping and warehousing environments is preferred but not required
