As a Heavy Equipment Operator at Alpha, you  be trusted to run major iron on meaningful projects across the Big Island of Hawai .

• Operate excavators and loaders for mass excavation, trenching, grading, and site development
• Perform precision grading and material placement to spec   not  e enough
• Work on prevailing wage projects with professional crews and strong leadership
• Use GPS systems (Trimble Earthworks preferred) to execute accurate, efficient cuts and fills
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and operate machinery safely and responsibly
• Coordinate closely with Foremen and crew to keep production moving
• Read and interpret plans, grades, and stakes without hand-holding
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite

This is hands-on, production-driven work   and your skill directly impacts the success of the project.

We  not training from zero. We  leveling up professionals.

• Minimum 3+ years operating heavy equipment in civil or mass excavation environments
• Strong proficiency with excavators and/or loaders
• Solid understanding of grading, trenching, and site prep
• Ability to work safely, efficiently, and independently
• Strong communication and teamwork mindset

• Valid CDL with a clean driving record
• Experience on prevailing wage or public works projects
• GPS machine control experience (Trimble Earthworks a plus)

• Completion of standard pre-employment screening.
• Successful completion of a background check conducted after a conditional offer; any prior issues will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis consistent with Hawai  and federal law.
• Passing a drug test (for both full-time and part-time hires) conducted in line with Hawai  statutory requirements.
