• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when assistance is required.
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area, to solve issues and improve the guest experience.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for their choice to shop at Target.
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with food safety standards and company best practices.
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain how to use features and offerings within the Target App, including Wallet.
• Understand Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering; assist guests with enrollment, activation and usage of these features.
• Handle returns by following register prompts; partner with immediate Leaders as needed to resolve guest needs while following Target policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area by managing unpurchased items, baskets, and hangers.
• Stock supplies during store hours while remaining available to assist guests.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance in all actions.
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies, training; report hazards and correct where possible.
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-up orders, and returns, maintaining compliance with applicable laws.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office tasks as needed.
• Scan, handle, and move merchandise safely; able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally without assistance.
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance required.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift; shift length may vary.
• Be comfortable with varying temperatures and conditions while performing duties such as Drive-Up or carryout.
