• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Maintain stock by replenishing shelves and addressing empty areas.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare department merchandise based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Customer Service Associates work in one of the following departments, based on hiring needs and skillsets:
Appliances, Cabinets, Flooring, Live Nursery, Inside Garden, Hardware, Tools, Millwork, Building Materials, Plumbing, Electrical, Paint, Home Decor, Tool Rental, or Pro Services.

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6 months experience using a computer (inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information).
  • 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
  • Reading, writing, and basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
  • Able to perform duties with prolonged standing or sitting and other job-related activities.
  • Minimum lifting: 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with accommodation.

• 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience.
• Bi-lingual skills.
• Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials).

This role does not require regular travel, but occasional travel to meetings or training may be needed. Working conditions vary by location and may include both indoor and outdoor environments, varying climates, noises, and lifting guidelines (single lifts limited to 75 pounds; team lifts as needed).
