The Food & Beverage team enables a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is fresh, in stock, available and accurately priced and signed on the sales floor. They are experts of operations, process and efficiency, leading food and food services including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience, providing a fresh and full shopping experience during all hours of operations, prioritizing the guest’s needs over task.
• Uphold and maintain the execution of the Food & Beverage Standards.
• Execute Food & Beverage processes including food deliveries, replenishment, straightening merchandise, in-stocks routines, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing and storing reserve product.
• Follow all food safety requirements as outlined in Target’s policies and procedures.
• Use sampling and suggestive selling to promote products and increase sales.
• Work with vendors to set, maintain and make planned changes to salesfloor merchandise displays and keep organized backroom space.
• Locate and identify damaged, recalled or expired items and process according to Target’s policies and procedures.
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues for the guest and improve their experience.
• Execute all federal, state and local adult beverage laws as they apply to your business.
• Care for in-store and personal protective equipment and follow equipment control guidelines.
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) while complying with applicable laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with their needs.
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs and thank them for shopping at Target.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You are open to a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older (Bakery Only).
• Previous food or grocery experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently and with a team; resolve guest questions quickly; attention to detail; follow multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established time frames.

• Climb ladders, scan, handle and move merchandise safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds.
• Flexible work schedule, reliable attendance; ability to work in environments ranging from 34°F to
  -10°F as needed.
• Ability to work in spaces where allergens may be present; exposure to varying temperatures and humidity; drive-up and carryout duties may be required.
• Remain mobile for the duration of the shift.
