We are one of the largest facility service providers in the State of Hawaii. We are seeking a highly motivated, reliable, and trustworthy individual with excellent customer service skills and a detail‑oriented mindset to clean and maintain a commercial location. While previous experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or a related field is preferred, it is not mandatory.

  Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM;
  Saturday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• Compensation: $16.00 per hour

• Ability to follow instructions.
• Adhere to safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in assigned duties, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning spills, restrooms, offices, sidewalks, pathways, window sills, railings, stairways, parking lots, removing bird droppings, light scrubbing, and cleaning/disinfecting frequently touched surfaces.
• Involve a lot of walking and pushing a utility cart.
• Restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Empty trash receptacles, wastebaskets, and recyclables, disposing of them in designated areas.
• Multi-task and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Uphold a high standard of professionalism and customer service.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, co‑workers, vendors, and property managers.
• Report safety issues or building problems (e.g., burnt light bulbs).
• Notify the appropriate HBM employee regarding needed supplies and equipment for cleaning duties.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor or property manager.

• Must pass HBM prescreen.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
• Strong public relations and communication skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English.
• Capable of performing basic manual labor, including cleaning common areas, frequently lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying a minimum of 30 lbs (up to 50 lbs), reaching overhead, grasping objects, bending, kneeling, crawling, squatting, climbing, stretching, walking, and standing throughout shifts.
• Experience operating various cleaning machinery preferred but not required (e.g., leaf blower, power washer, floor scrubber) preferred but not necessary.
