Do you believe every child deserves to feel confident, included, and supported? Kamaʻāina Kids—Hawaiʻi’s largest locally owned nonprofit childcare organization—is seeking compassionate One-on-One Group Leaders to support keiki with special needs in our After School Program.
In this role, you’ll work closely with one child, helping them participate fully in daily activities while building independence, trust, and social confidence in a safe, joyful environment.
This position is a great fit for aspiring teachers, SPED professionals, RBTs, paraprofessionals, college students, or anyone passionate about inclusive education and child development.

Schedule- Monday–Friday: 1:45 PM–5:30 PM
- Wednesdays (early release): 12:30 PM start
- No weekends. No evenings. No take-home prep.
You’re a Great Fit If You:
- Enjoy helping children with unique needs feel included and successful
- Have experience as an RBT, SPED aide, or paraprofessional—or are eager to learn
- Bring a calm, patient, and positive presence
- Want to make a meaningful impact every single day
- High school diploma or GED
- Genuine love for working with children
- No Teaching Certificate required
