As an Airport Security Officer in Kahului, HI, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and airport facilities. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the public, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Part Time – Morning

$22.50 per hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96; premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

• Valid driver’s license
• 21+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain an AOA badge (Federal Background Check in accordance with DOT requirements)

• Provide customer service by following security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, supporting a secure environment for all individuals.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain detailed records of observations, incidents, and activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and local authorities as needed.
• Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points to deter unauthorized access.
• Remain alert to surroundings and report any suspicious activity or hazards encountered during patrols.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Each applicant will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local Assam.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Each applicant will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment as dictated by state or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
