Position Type:
Part Time – Morning

Pay Rate: $28.86 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.58. Premium pay based on the position actually worked.

Wed 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM
Fri 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM

• 2+ years of professional law enforcement experience in the U.S. after graduating from a certified law enforcement academy (Federal, State, or County level).
• Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or equivalent (credentials required).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Law Enforcement Officer License.
• 22+ years of age.

Applicant must have completed one of the following approved programs:

• Certified State law enforcement recruit training.
• Certified County law enforcement recruit training.
• Federal law enforcement training.
• Programs approved by the Director.
• No felony convictions or specific abuse convictions as outlined.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions.

• Supervise contractors and work with airport management, tenants, other agencies and the public.
• Relevant knowledge of security disputes, complaints, performance issues.

• No record of moral turpitude, domestic violence, untruthfulness, or mental/emotional disorders that interfere with duties.

• Provide customer service and carry out security procedures, site policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly.
• Exercise sound judgment and render appropriate decisions under stress.
• Maintain respectful conduct and attitude.
• Follow orders and accept responsibility.
• Maintain alertness and professional conduct.
• Show moral character and truthfulness.
• Communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Maintain courteous relationships with public, airport employees, tenants, and law enforcement.
• May be required to provide a court appearance for citations issued on behalf of DOTA.

• Mental and emotional capability to perform duties.
• Good physical health, able to stand, walk, patrol, climb stairs, run, and self‑defend.
• Lift and carry objects up to 25 lbs. over a designated distance.
• Assist in evacuation of individuals.
• Subject to random drug screen.
• Use physical force if required.
• Pass security background check by DOTA pass and e.
• Well‑groomed and neat appearance.
• Pass one‑time physical exam within past 6 months.
• Pass 12‑panel drug test and future random tests.
• Vision 20/30 and normal color vision.
• Hearing at normal conversational level; hearing aid may be used.
