Working as a Starbucks Barista within Target’s Food & Beverage team. The role focuses on delivering a consistent Starbucks experience, ensuring product freshness and accuracy, and supporting guest services and store operations to meet Target standards.

• Provide a consistent Starbucks experience for guests by upholding quality and freshness of products.
• Follow state and federal food safety guidelines and OSHA requirements.
• Deliver an exceptional guest experience by welcoming guests and prioritizing their needs.
• Uphold and maintain Food & Beverage standards and processes, including deliveries, replenishment, in-stocks, data accuracy, culling, rotation, cleaning, signing, and storing reserve product.
• Stay informed about current and future promotions within Starbucks and Target.
• Follow Target and Starbucks routines to deliver a consistent guest experience while maintaining food safety and efficiency.
• Support Drive Up process to fulfill digital guest orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain an inviting dining area and engage with guests to meet and exceed expectations per Starbucks standards.
• Prepare handcrafted beverages and food to recipe specifications; monitor and record temperature-sensitive items as required.
• Complete cleaning tasks and ensure proper inventory management, including perishable controls and order accuracy.
• Identify damaged, recalled or expired items and handle according to best practices.
• Complete required training and certifications related to quality control of Starbucks products.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards.
• Assist guest services as needed (back-up cashier, order pickup, Drive-Up) while complying with applicable laws.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and addressing their needs.
• Thank guests and express appreciation for their visit.
• All other duties based on business needs.

• You enjoy interacting with guests and helping others, including store guests and team members.
• You thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding role with strong teamwork and problem solving.
• You are open to a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and peak shopping times.
• Previous Starbucks or food service experience is preferred but not required.
• Welcoming attitude toward guests and team members; ability to communicate using multiple devices and technology as directed.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team; attention to detail and multi-step processes.
• Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks within established time frames.
• Cash handling ability when needed; comfortable with ladders and motion involved in stocking and merchandising.
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 pounds and to work in varying temperatures and environments.
