Base Yard Manager - Logistics and Distribution role at HPM Building Supply

Location:

Puunene (Central Maui Baseyard), Hawaii

Salary: $71,800 - $101,900 per year

Responsibilities

• Lead Central Maui Base Yard, overseeing inbound freight, yard flow, order fulfillment, dispatch, and last-mile delivery.
• Accountable for on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance, productivity, safety, and cost control.
• Build scalable processes, introduce operational discipline, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach, develop, and lead a team of 10‑20 logistics and yard professionals.
• Partner closely with Retail Operations, Pro Sales, Truss Systems Hawaii, and Regional Leadership.
• Maintain typical schedule Monday‑Friday 7:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory/leadership experience in logistics, yard operations, distribution, or related operational environment.
• Experience in high‑volume, fast‑paced operations preferred.
• Forklift, load building, and material handling experience strongly preferred.
• Building materials or construction supply experience a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
