Chief Electrical Estimator

Gpac is a national executive search firm specializing in recruitment for the electrical construction industry. We have been retained by a leading electrical contractor in the area to identify a Chief Electrical Estimator to lead their estimating department and drive strategy for major projects.

• Oversee and lead the estimating department, managing all preconstruction and bid activities
• Develop and implement estimating strategies for large-scale commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects
• Review complex project specifications, drawings, and scope to ensure accurate, competitive bids
• Provide executive-level insight into project budgets, cost control, and bid presentation to leadership
• Mentor, train, and oversee the work of junior and senior estimators, ensuring departmental growth and consistency
• Establish and maintain key relationships with GCs, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to secure competitive pricing and repeat business

• 10+ years of electrical estimating experience with an electrical contractor
• Proven track record of leadership in an estimating or preconstruction management role
• Expertise in commercial, industrial, and institutional electrical projects (multi-million-dollar range)
• Proficiency with industry-standard estimating software (Accubid, McCormick, Conest, or similar)
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to influence and strategize at an executive level
