Located in Kahului, HI, the team at Eye Sight Hawaii is committed to meeting the unique needs of each patient using customized eye care plans and the latest equipment. The goal is to provide top-tier care and ensure each patient’s satisfaction.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kahului, HI, for an Ophthalmic Surgeon at Eye Sight Hawaii. The surgeon will perform advanced eye surgeries, including LASIK, cataract surgeries, and corneal transplants, as well as provide specialized optometry and ophthalmologic care. Additional responsibilities include diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, consulting with patients to develop tailored treatment plans, and ensuring the use of cutting-edge technology and the highest standard of care in all procedures.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Ophthalmology, including a thorough understanding of eye health and clinical care
  • Proficiency in performing Laser treatments and advanced surgeries, including LASIK and cataract procedures
  • Strong communication and patient care skills with a focus on building trust and delivering exceptional service
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a highly skilled medical and administrative team
  • Board certification in Ophthalmology and a state medical license (Hawaii license preferred)
  • Experience working with advanced optical and diagnostic technologies is a plus
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on advancements in the field of eye care
