Bob’s Auto Refinishing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Auto Body Estimator to join our team. This role is critical to delivering accurate repair estimates, maintaining strong relationships with customers and insurance partners, and ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standard. We are looking for someone who combines technical estimating expertise with strong communication and professionalism

- Write accurate and detailed repair estimates using CCC ONE
- Perform vehicle damage inspections and identify necessary repair procedures
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding estimates, repair scope, and timelines
- Work directly with insurance adjusters to negotiate and supplement estimates as needed
- Monitor repair progress and update estimates when additional damage is discovered
- Coordinate with technicians and shop management to ensure repair plans are feasible and efficient
- Maintain accurate documentation and job records in shop management systems
- Ensure estimates align with OEM guidelines and industry best practices
- Support high-quality repairs by balancing cost accuracy, safety, and craftsmanship
- Proficient in CCC ONE (required)
- Prior auto body estimating experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and terminology
- Understanding of insurance claims and estimating procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working directly with insurance companies and adjusters
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
- Professional, customer-focused approach
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
