We re looking for a professional, safety-focused Commercial Driver to join our operations team and help keep material moving efficiently to our customers and between our facilities.
Position SummaryThe Commercial Driver is responsible for the safe, timely transportation of steel products to customer job sites and yards. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and professionalism when representing Crest Steel with customers.
This is a local driving position — no overnight routes.

- Safely transport steel products (beams, tube, plate, bar, etc.) to customer locations
- Secure loads properly using chains, straps, and binders
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Ensure accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, operations, and customers
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Assist with loading and unloading as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of assigned equipment
- Represent Crest Steel professionally at all times
Required Skills:
- Valid Class A CDL (required)
- Clean driving record
- Experience hauling steel or flatbed loads preferred
- Knowledge of proper load securement methods
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift, climb, and work around heavy materials
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $26.00/Hr.
- USD $29.50/Hr. depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
