Inpatient Responsibilities and Expectations

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide expert surgical care in cardiothoracic cases Manage post-operative care and monitoring of patients in the cardiac ICU Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care Available for on-call duties as per the scheduled rota Schedule and Coverage Shift Details:

New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day Expected to handle 1-3 patients per shift Bed in Department: 365-8 bed cardiac ICU No outpatient or routine rounding duties required Practice Details EMR System:

Special Requirements :
Must have CA licensure, CA Fluoroscopy license, CA DEA Clean medical malpractice history Board Certified in Cardiothoracic, Cardiovascular, or Thoracic Surgery Requirements and Qualifications

Certifications:

Board Certified in Cardiothoracic, Cardiovascular, or Thoracic Surgery required PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications are not required for this role Licensing:
Must be licensed to practice in California

Experience:
