The Business Analyst is responsible for planning and conducting analyses of company functions, processes, and activities to enhance computer-based business applications, ensuring the most efficient use of resources, including money, materials, equipment, and personnel.

* ** Duties and Responsibilities*
* - Analyze information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes and procedures to determine most useful business solutions for the company
- Utilize available computer system resources to carry out analysis to support management's quest for performance improvement
- Confer with organizational units to analyze current operational procedures and identify problems
- Work with management to identify and solve computer-based business system and process issues
- Propose alternative solutions for courses of action that best meet company and customer goals
- Assist Operations and/or Engineering with analysis of Customer requirements, procedures and problems to automate processing or improve existing business systems
- Analyze existing systems and processes to evaluate effectiveness and design new systems to improve production or workflow.
- Review computer system capabilities, workflow and scheduling limitations to determine if recommended program or program change is possible within the system
- Provide point of contact for Operations relative to enhanced Customer requirements
- Partner with Engineering to design efficient Concept of Operations
- Translate business requirements and processes into functional system requirements
- Coordinate integration meetings with Customer to define system requirements and specifications relative to business system configuration
- Configure KN applications based on Engineering solution design and Concept of Operations
- Manage development of test data, plan and cycles to ensure that all system requirements are validated
- Provide supervision for local super users and ensure that site hardware and related business system software is installed and functioning properly
- Manage all IT aspects of testing, training, implementation and support of system requirements
- Participate in on-site implementation and client interaction to ensure delivery of business requirements
** What we would like you to bring*
* ** Requirements*
* - At least 2 years of technical experience with Unix operating systems, SQL programming, and Oracle or comparable databases
- At least 2 years of technical experience with 3PL products, including warehouse management systems, transportation management systems, order management systems, and/or Enterprise Application Integration tools
- At least two years of operational experience in warehousing services
- Thorough understanding of warehouse operational procedures, including receiving, order processing, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management and cycle counting
- Extensive knowledge of all WMS functions and how they relate to operational procedures
- Proven ability to define and document customer requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
- Anticipate travel at 20%
