The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Anchorage International Airport - Airfield Maintenance, is looking for an Equipment Operator, Journey 2 to help us Keep Alaska Moving!

What you will be doing:

Under general supervision, professionally operate all heavy equipment associated with the construction and maintenance of the Anchorage International Airport (ANC). Examples of equipment include, but are not limited to, motor graders, loaders, dump trucks, airport snow removal machines, roller compactors, sand spreaders, backhoes, and tractor‑trailer combinations.

The candidate will operate equipment on the airfield and airport property. Daily duties include removing snow from the airfield surfaces, parking lots, roadways, and sidewalks. Other duties are cleaning of equipment, emergency concrete and asphalt repair, brush and tree removal, and many other labor‑intensive jobs.

As part of the Airfield Maintenance crew the candidate will operate and maintain these airports and roadways in all conditions. or training for any emergency that may occur, these are just a few situations you can find us in while making the difficult seem routine day after day. We truly keep Alaska moving!
