Ramp Manager
Reports to Director of Flight Services
Job Summary
The Ramp Manager oversees ramp staff and operations to ensure safe, timely, and efficient ground service support. Responsibilities include recruiting and training a strong team, creating work schedules to meet seasonal demands, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. The role requires effective communication with flight operations and customer service teams, ensuring proper handling of mail, freight, and fuel.
The Ramp manager must ensure compliance with safety regulations and airline policies, maintain and manage required fuel training certifications, fuel inventory and knowledge of hazmat and air freight acceptance. Additional duties include participating in regular management meetings, and conducting annual performance evaluations. A professional demeanor and adaptability to additional duties are essential.
Schedule:
40 hrs/week - 8-hour shifts with occasional need for overtime.

Qualifications
12 months of experience in cargo related field preferred
Must be 18 years of age
Possess a valid driver license
Must be a United States Citizen or provide proof of right to work in the U.S.
Must be able to work SAFELY in a fast-paced environment
Be a self-motivated team player
Be punctual and dependable
Able to fluently read, write, and speak English
Must be physically able to lift and move up to 60lbs routinely and safely, and occasionally heavier items
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
