Are you interested in having a direct impact on the wellness and health of students? Come join our caring and compassionate team at the University of Alaska Southeast. We are looking for a 30 hour a week, 9 month Health Care Provider to oversee the university's student health services area and clinic. The individual will be part of a larger group that provides holistic support promoting academic, social, physical, and general wellness.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited postsecondary institution, and five years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Additional education/training in a specialized area of study.
- State licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner, certification in a specialty area (e.g. ANCC, AANP), and federal DEA number for prescribing medications required.
- Note:
An MD may substitute for the Nursing degree, as long as the qualification and experience are equivalent to the minimum qualifications listed above.
This position is located on the UAS campus in Juneau, AK. This is a continuous 9 month, 30 hrs/week, exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary and full employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers for employees and family members, and affordable medical, dental and vision care coverage.
New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 82, Step 1 to Step 49 with an hourly range of $37.29 to $60.11/hr, based on education and experience.
